Cynthia Riggs is the author of the Martha’s Vineyard mystery series featuring amateur sleuth Victoria Trumbull. She began writing the series while earning an MFA in creative writing at Vermont College at age 68, and her first mystery, Deadly Nightshade, was published in 2001. She has since written fourteen Martha’s Vineyard mysteries, along with a guidebook and memoir-related works.
