Christi Daugherty is a former crime reporter who covered murders while working as a journalist in Savannah, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans. She became a novelist and wrote the Harper McClain crime series, including The Echo Killing, A Beautiful Corpse, and Revolver Road. She also writes young adult fiction as C.J. Daugherty and co-wrote The Secret Fire fantasy series.
