Barry Hutchison is a Scottish author, screenwriter, producer, and comic-book writer who began publishing children’s fiction in 2008. He has written more than 180 books for children and 40 for adults, including the Space Team comedy space-opera series, the Living Ted books, and numerous children’s and young-adult horror, fantasy, and science-fiction novels. He also writes Scottish crime fiction under the pen name J.D. Kirk.
