Joshua Moehling is a Minneapolis-based writer and former program manager whose debut novel, And There He Kept Her, launched the Ben Packard mystery series in 2022. The series continued with Where the Dead Sleep and A Long Time Gone, establishing Moehling as a USA Today bestselling author of crime fiction featuring a gay Minnesota sheriff’s deputy. He later became a full-time writer after signing additional book contracts with Poisoned Pen Press.
