JJ Toner is an Irish independent author born in Dublin who worked for 27 years in the computer industry before becoming a full-time writer in 2007. He has written hundreds of short stories and self-published several novels, becoming best known for his World War II spy-thriller series beginning with The Black Orchestra. He also writes Irish crime and detective thrillers, police procedurals, and science-fiction stories.
