J. R. Moehringer is an American journalist, memoirist, novelist, and biographical ghostwriter. A former Los Angeles Times national correspondent, he won the 2000 Pulitzer Prize for Feature Writing. He is the author of the memoir The Tender Bar and the biographical novel Sutton, and has coauthored bestselling memoirs including Andre Agassi’s Open, Phil Knight’s Shoe Dog, and Prince Harry’s Spare.
