Robert Devereaux is an American novelist and short-story writer whose professional career began with a late-1980s appearance in Pulphouse magazine. After attending the 1990 Clarion West Writers Workshop, he published fiction in venues including Crank!, Weird Tales, and Dennis Etchison’s MetaHorror anthology; two stories were finalists for the Bram Stoker and World Fantasy Awards. His boundary-pushing novels and collections include Deadweight, Walking Wounded, Santa Steps Out, Caliban, Oedipus Aroused, A Flight of Storks and Angels, and Baby’s First Book of Seriously Fucked-Up Shit.
