Rowan Beaird is a fiction writer whose work has appeared in The Kenyon Review, The Southern Review, The Common, Ploughshares, and Gulf Coast. She received the Ploughshares Emerging Writer Award and scholarships from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference and StoryStudio. Her debut novel, The Divorcées, was published in 2024 and received multiple best-book honors; her second novel, Tenderness, was published in July 2026.
