Seymour Chwast is an American author, illustrator, and graphic designer who has created more than 30 children's books and illustrated numerous others. He is especially known for adapting classics such as The Odyssey, The Canterbury Tales, and Dante's Divine Comedy into inventive graphic novels, while also producing nonfiction and socially engaged illustrated works. Chwast co-founded Push Pin Studios and has had a major influence on modern visual storytelling.
