T. L. Mogford is the historical-fiction pen name of British author Thomas Mogford. After studying modern languages at Oxford and postgraduate law in London, he wrote five crime novels featuring Gibraltar lawyer Spike Sanguinetti, published by Bloomsbury. As T. L. Mogford, he writes historical adventure fiction, including The Plant Hunter, shortlisted for the Wilbur Smith Adventure Writing Prize, and The Saffron Thief.
