Elizabeth Aston was the pen name of English author Elizabeth Edmondson, who also wrote as Elizabeth Pewsey and Elizabeth Edmondson. She began publishing in 1994 with Children of Chance and became known for historical and contemporary fiction, including the popular Darcy series of Jane Austen-inspired sequels beginning with Mr. Darcy’s Daughters (2003). She also wrote the Mountjoy novels, romantic comedies, and vintage mysteries set in the 1930s–1950s.
