Richard Parks is an American author from Mississippi who writes under the names Richard Parks and W. J. Everett. His fiction has appeared in Asimov’s SF, Realms of Fantasy, Fantasy Magazine, Tor.com, Weird Tales, and Beneath Ceaseless Skies; he is the author of the Yamada Monogatari and The Laws of Power series, along with numerous novels, novellas, short-story collections, and standalone stories. His work has been nominated for the World Fantasy Award and the Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Adult Literature.
