Jamie Smith, who also writes as J. H. B. Smith, is a British fantasy and science-fiction author based near Stafford. His debut novel, Frostfire, was shortlisted for the 2016 Times/Chicken House Children’s Fiction Competition and published by Chicken House in 2018. Alongside writing, he has worked as a retail software developer and continues to develop fantasy projects for children, young adults, and adults.
