Morgan Shamy is a former ballerina and professional pianist who became a Young Adult author of dark, atmospheric fiction. Her writing career includes the fantasy trilogy The Dark Nocturne, the historical gothic mystery The Dollmaker, and the breakout gothic thriller The Stricken, which received strong bestseller and award attention. Her YA dark-academia fantasy Danse Macabre was acquired by Entangled Publishing’s Mayhem Books imprint.
