Gabriel Tallent is an American novelist and the author of the New York Times-bestselling debut My Absolute Darling and the novel Crux. Born in New Mexico and raised on California’s Mendocino coast, he studied English at Willamette University before working on backcountry trail crews and pursuing a writing career. He lives in Salt Lake City.
