Zeyn Joukhadar is a Syrian American novelist whose debut, The Map of Salt and Stars, was published in 2018 and won the Middle East Book Award. Their second novel, The Thirty Names of Night, won the Lambda Literary Award for Transgender Fiction and the Stonewall Book Award. Joukhadar's writing has appeared in publications including The Paris Review, Salon, and Electric Literature, and they have received multiple writing fellowships and residencies.
