Jane Bitomsky is a writer of historical crime fiction and mystery. She holds a PhD in early modern English history from the University of Queensland and has published in academic journals. Her debut novel, Death by Misadventure, formerly titled An Inquest of Eels, won the Claymore Award for Best Historical and combines an Elizabethan murder investigation with dark humor and romance.
