Samantha Mary (S.M.) Beiko is a Winnipeg-based author, artist, editor, and comics creator. She began her novel career with the YA fantasy The Lake and the Library, followed by the award-winning Realms of Ancient trilogy and the Brindlewatch Quintet. She also writes and illustrates comics, edits speculative-fiction anthologies, and works professionally in Canadian book and comics publishing.
