Peter Korn is a furniture maker, educator, and author whose writing focuses on craftsmanship, creative work, and woodworking. He wrote the memoir-philosophical book Why We Make Things and Why It Matters: The Education of a Craftsman, winner of the 2014 Maine Literary Award, as well as the instructional woodworking books Woodworking Basics and The Woodworker’s Guide to Hand Tools.
