Valerie Burns is an award-finalist crime-fiction author who writes the Baker Street Mysteries under her own name and several other cozy-mystery series as V.M. Burns and Kallie E. Benjamin. Her debut novel, The Plot Is Murder, was a 2017 Agatha Award finalist, and her short fiction has been recognized by the Anthony and Edgar Awards. She is also a mentor and adjunct professor in Seton Hill University’s Writing Popular Fiction MFA program.
