Claire Parkin is a Welsh-born British novelist who began her career as a journalist for women’s magazines before turning to fiction after the birth of her twin children. She has had short stories shortlisted for the Bridport Prize and was runner-up for the Fiction Desk Newcomer of the Year Award in 2016. Her novels include The Final Hours of Muriel Hinchcliffe and Tell Tale, darkly comic crime mysteries with sharp, humorous edges.
