Ned Hoste is a British author and veteran book designer who began writing fiction after more than four decades in publishing and design. He is the author of the Barton & Brooks Cosy Mystery series, set in and around Exeter and Topsham in Devon, which began with The Antiquarian in 2025 and continued with The Publisher in 2026.
