Alan Jacobs is a scholar, literary critic, and author who has taught English and the humanities at Wheaton College and Baylor University. His writing explores literature, theology, Christian intellectual history, technology, and the habits of thought, including books such as The Narnian, How to Think, The Year of Our Lord 1943, and Breaking Bread with the Dead. He has also contributed essays to publications including The Atlantic, Harper’s Magazine, The New Yorker, and The Wall Street Journal.
