Dr. Elizabeth Norton is a British historian, writer, broadcaster, and historical consultant specializing in the Tudor period, the queens of England, and women’s history. She has written numerous nonfiction books, including biographies of Margaret Beaufort and several of Henry VIII’s wives, as well as The Hidden Lives of Tudor Women, Women Who Ruled the World, and The Temptation of Elizabeth Tudor. She also writes for history magazines and regularly appears as a historical expert on television and radio.
