Brett Andrew Strange is a former U.S. intelligence officer and foreign journalist whose writing draws on his experiences with the CIA, the U.S. Treasury, and decades spent living and working abroad. He is the author of the Across Latitudes espionage-thriller trilogy—Against the Dusk, Beneath the Purple Dawn, and Eastern Light—as well as Encounters: Six Short Stories. He studied English and American literature at Harvard College and has traveled to more than two dozen countries for research.
