David Wroblewski is an American novelist best known for his debut, The Story of Edgar Sawtelle, an internationally bestselling Oprah’s Book Club selection and award-winning retelling of Hamlet centered on a boy and his family’s remarkable dogs. He followed it with Familiaris, a historical family saga exploring love, friendship, philosophy, and the human-canine bond. Wroblewski holds an MFA in creative writing from the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers and lives in Colorado.
