Doug Lohse is an independent author who began writing as an escape from a high-pressure corporate career. He self-published Elsewhere, his first novel and the opening volume of the Elsewhere series, and has continued the series with LitRPG and fantasy adventures that expand into science-fiction territory. He is active in the LitRPG author and reader community and lives in the southern United States with his family.
