Takerra Allen is a New Jersey author of African American contemporary, urban, and romance fiction. She has written multiple series and standalone novels, including Thicker Than Water, Devout, Needful Noor, and Parachutes, and her novel Heaven's Hell was nominated for an African-American Literary Award. She has also adapted Heaven's Hell into an independent film, serving as screenwriter, director, and executive producer.
