Meg Mason is a New Zealand author and former journalist whose writing career began at The Times of London and later included work for Vogue, Elle, GQ, Sunday Style, and The New Yorker’s Daily Shouts. She is the author of You Be Mother and the internationally bestselling novel Sorrow and Bliss, which won the British Book Industry’s Fiction Book of the Year and was shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction. Her third novel, Sophie, Standing There, was published in 2026.
