Harper Ford is the romantic-comedy pen name of British novelist Rebecca Mascull, who also writes historical fiction as Rebecca Mascull and historical sagas as Mollie Walton. After beginning her career with historical novels, she turned to contemporary romcoms during lockdown, focusing on irreverent, taboo-busting stories about midlife women and contemporary issues. She writes full-time and is a Fellow of the Royal Literary Fund at the University of Lincoln.
