William King, also known as Bill King, is a Scottish author and game designer born in Stranraer in 1959. He joined Games Workshop in 1989 and became a prominent writer for the Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 universes, creating the Gotrek & Felix adventures and writing the Space Wolf novels featuring Ragnar Blackmane. He has written more than 30 novels, including fantasy, science-fiction, and recent conspiracy-themed nonfiction audiobooks, and lives in Prague.
