Annabel Campbell is a Scottish fantasy author whose debut novel, The Outcast Mage, launched Orbit’s epic-fantasy series The Shattered Lands in 2025. She began developing the story in her teens and writes fantasy featuring fierce female characters, disaster wizards, magic, and dragons. Alongside writing, she works as a medical writer and holds a PhD in cardiovascular science.
