Lauren Gunderson is an American playwright, screenwriter, musical book writer, and short story author from Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a BA from Emory University and an MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU Tisch. Her widely produced plays often combine history, science, feminism, humor, and emotional depth, including Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, Silent Sky, The Book of Will, and The Half-Life of Marie Curie.
