Jennifer Chambliss Bertman is a New York Times bestselling children’s author best known for the Book Scavenger middle-grade mystery series, including Book Scavenger, The Unbreakable Code, and The Alcatraz Escape. She is also the author of Sisterhood of Sleuths and the picture book A Good Deed Can Grow. She holds an MFA in creative writing and has worked in publishing, teaching, and freelance editing.
