Kathy Cooperman is a California-based novelist who spent four years performing improvisational comedy before graduating from Yale Law School and practicing criminal law. She made her fiction debut with Crimes Against a Book Club, followed by The Very Principled Maggie Mayfield. Her novels are known for witty, warm comedy centered on women, friendship, family, and social pressures.
