Laline Paull is a London-born British novelist, playwright, and screenwriter of Indian heritage. After studying English at Oxford, screenwriting in Los Angeles, and theatre in London, she had plays performed at the Royal National Theatre before publishing her debut novel, The Bees, in 2014. Her subsequent novels include The Ice and Pod, which combine imaginative storytelling with biology, environmental science, and ecological themes.
