Andrew Leatherbarrow is a British author and photographer whose writing career focuses on thoroughly researched accounts of nuclear disasters and the history of nuclear power. After visiting the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone in 2011, he wrote Chernobyl 01:23:40, which became an international bestseller. He later published Melting Sun, a history of nuclear power in Japan and the Fukushima Daiichi disaster.
