G. M. Malliet is an Agatha Award-winning American author of traditional mystery fiction. Her debut, Death of a Cozy Writer, won the Agatha Award for Best First Novel and launched the DCI St. Just mysteries; she later created the Max Tudor and Augusta Hawke series, along with standalone suspense novels and numerous short stories published in venues including Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, and The Strand.
