Thomas Benigno is a practicing Long Island attorney who began his legal career as a trial lawyer in the Criminal Defense Division of the New York City Legal Aid Society. Drawing on his experience handling criminal cases, he writes crime fiction centered on lawyers, investigations, and moral conflicts. He is the author of the three-book Good Lawyer series: The Good Lawyer, The Criminal Lawyer, and The Criminal Mind.
