Stacey Lee is a New York Times and Indie bestselling author of historical and contemporary young adult fiction. A fourth-generation Chinese American from Southern California, she practiced law before becoming a full-time writer. Her books have been published internationally and have received honors including the Asian Pacific American Librarians Association Award, the PEN Center USA Award for Young Adult Fiction, and the Golden Poppy Award; she is also a co-founder of We Need Diverse Books.
