Dallas Jenkins is an American filmmaker, author, and screenwriter who began his career producing the independent feature Hometown Legend and later wrote and directed more than a dozen films. He is best known as the creator, co-writer, and director of The Chosen, and has co-authored companion devotionals and interactive Bible studies based on the series, as well as the Christian novel Midnight Clear.
