Martina Murphy is an Irish bestselling author who began writing young-adult fiction and later published women’s fiction under the names Tina Reilly and Martina Reilly. She returned to the Martina Murphy name for crime fiction, launching the DS Lucy Golden series with The Night Caller and continuing with The Branded, The Reckoning, The Bone Fire, The Wrath and The Taken. Her earlier work won major youth-fiction awards, while Something Borrowed was longlisted for the IMPAC Literary Award; she has also worked as a journalist and drama teacher.
