Rachel Crowther is a British novelist who worked as an NHS doctor for 20 years before pursuing fiction. She earned an MA in Creative Writing with distinction from Oxford Brookes and has won prizes for her short fiction. Her first novel, The Partridge and the Pelican, was published in 2011, followed by The Things You Do for Love, A Parting of the Ways, and The House of Echoes; she has also written two novels as Rachel Hancox.
