Sarah Yarwood-Lovett is a British author and former ecologist whose sixteen-year career studying wildlife and habitats inspired her fiction. She began publishing in 2022 with A Murder of Crows, the first Dr Nell Ward mystery series, featuring an ecologist who applies field-survey skills to murder investigations. Her writing combines ecological detail with cosy crime and mystery, and she has also branched into destination thrillers such as The Pledge.
