Frances Quinn grew up in London and studied English at King’s College, Cambridge. She worked as a journalist for magazines including Prima, Good Housekeeping, She, Woman’s Weekly and Ideal Home, later becoming a copywriter. After winning a place on the Curtis Brown Creative novel-writing course in 2013, she began writing her debut novel, The Smallest Man, followed by That Bonesetter Woman, The Lost Passenger and The Scandalous Ladies Football Club.
