Kirsty Ferry is a North East England author who won the English Heritage/Belsay Hall National Creative Writing competition in 2009. Her writing career began with short stories and articles before she published her first novel, Some Veil Did Fall, a paranormal romance and timeslip set in Whitby, with Choc Lit. She has since written historical and romantic novels, including the Cornish Secrets, Hartsford Mysteries, and Tempest Sisters series, and now writes dark, witchy Gothic timeslip fiction for Boldwood. She holds a BA (Hons) in Literature and a distinction-level MA in Creative Writing from Northumbria University.
