Diane Les Becquets is an award-winning author of adult and young adult fiction, including Breaking Wild, The Last Woman in the Forest, and Where the Water Meets the Sky, as well as the young adult novels The Stones of Mourning Creek, Season of Ice, and Love, Cajun Style. Her fiction often centers on strong characters shaped by wilderness, rural communities, and the natural world. She is a faculty member and former director of the MFA Program in Fiction and Non-Fiction at Southern New Hampshire University.
