Marie Hoy-Kenny is a writer, teacher, and theatre enthusiast from Ontario, Canada. She studied English and professional writing at the University of Toronto, and her short fiction and poetry have appeared in literary magazines including Trampset, Cosmonauts Avenue, FlashBack Fiction, and Prose Online. Her debut novel, the young adult thriller The Girls from Hush Cabin, was published by Blackstone Publishing in 2023; she has also published the picture book This Plant Is Not Boring and the adult romantic comedy Something Like Desire.
