Archana Maniar is an Indian American novelist raised between Mumbai and California. Her debut novel, Dry Spells, was published internationally in 2024 and draws on her observations of family, identity, climate change, and life between cultures. She is also an infectious disease physician and professor of medicine at the University of California, Davis, and continues to write fiction alongside her medical career.
