Mary Torjussen is a British author of psychological suspense novels. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from Liverpool John Moores University and worked as a teacher before becoming a full-time writer. Her debut, Gone Without a Trace, was published in 2016, followed by The Girl I Used to Be and The Closer You Get; her novels often feature women facing danger close to home and are set around Liverpool.
